Lake Simcoe Whitefish

Another great day ..calm winds, warm and FISH!! I fished today with a Joe Pannella, We left the lake early and followed our usual route hitting many of our previous GPS locations. We marked a few scattered fish here and there .. Then Joe got a hit …he managed to get a nice lake trout right to the hole but the laker won that battle.Still no whitefish. So off to another old spot hot spot…weird no one around …Drilled some hole and got fishin..for the next 2 hours it non-stop action for whitefish. The Vexilar was lit-up like a fireworks , fish on top of fish on top of more fish!! We landed 12 and lost 20 more!! We kept our limit of 2 fish each by end of the day. Jigging spoons , bad boyz, and jigging rap’s did the catching , didn’t matter they were hungry for anything. Sizes ranged from 4- 9 lbs

Bay of Quinte…Back for more big yellow bellied walleye!!! Gotta love that thump of a strike!! We were off with a few friend early in the morning searching for those big hogs…Thump!!  Found them!! The action for the day was steady as our Vexilar was showing signs of life most of the day.Most fish that came into range were in active but we were able to land a few that day ..including this nice 10+ walleye I caught. This fish hit hard!!Almost took the rod out of my hands.
