My charter for the morning was with Mike And his wife B.J.
Our original plan was to target Simcoe pike, but a cold front rolled in with high winds overnight and I knew the pike would shut down. So plan B ..whitefish !!We motored to the zone and started to hook up shortly after the bite was mostly on spoons near the bottom. B.J. hooked something very big as her line started to peel out drag pretty quickly. After a good fight she brought a huge Lake Trout boat side to have the hooks pull out just as we saw the Trout. Still a great fight and she is still swimming!!We limited out on whitefish and called it a day.
